Dale is the resident gardener at The Porterhouse, the mansion belonging to Galen Porter. It is not known how long Dale has worked for Galen Porter, nor how he came to be in his employ, but from all available accounts he seems happy and well looked-after in the role.
Meeting the Pumped-Up Honchos
Dale encountered The Pumped-Up Honchos for the first time on 21 Mirtul, 1494. He was relaxing in the The Porterhouse's servants quarters after finishing his work on his topiary cerberus, when the party entered and questioned him about his role in the estate. They drew some interesting connections between the names "Dale" and "Daleport", as well making note of that fact that "Dale" rhymes with "Gale(n)". Any truth to any rumours that were created as a result of these facts are as yet unsubstantiated.
He again encountered the adventurers the next day outside the burnt out ruins of Whisperleaf's Bakery, where he was sat with Varis Nialo. The party observed the leaf-shaped tattoo on his forearm. He informed the party that he liked to come and sit near the bakery from time to time, as he found the smell of this particular bakery's bread to be comforting.
